MAX GLUCK

I’m Max, a wood tech at South London’s Maker Space. I’m passionate about woodworking, problem-solving, and creating stunning furniture. I love learning new skills and sharing my knowledge with others. It’s fulfilling to be part of a community that values craftsmanship and creativity like I do.

I am one of the Wood Techs at South London Makerspace, and I’ve been a member since 2022. Wood working was one of the last things I expected to take up as a hobby when moving to London, but the full complement of tools and wealth of experience within the membership at SLMS has made learning the craft a joy.

One of the things I’ve come to massively appreciate about making at the Space is the interplay between the different functional areas; you can quickly laser-cut router templates, upholster custom cushions using the equipment in the textiles area, or CNC cut clean, crisp inlays.

At SLMS, the members you’ll meet come from a range of backgrounds, from professional joiners and long-time hobbyists, to brand-new learners – come by and give us a visit!
